Trust & Transparency
You shouldn't have to surrender your privacy just to find a job. Here is what the website uses, what it blocks, and which choices stay yours.
Browser capabilities
The production website sends a server-level Permissions-Policy header. Supported browsers enforce these restrictions before page code can use the blocked capability.
NoRageJobs does not capture photos, video, or audio.
Precise browser location is blocked for now. You can type a city, state, ZIP code, or remote-work preference yourself.
Accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and related motion access are blocked. NoRageJobs does not request ambient-light data; browser support for a dedicated light-sensor policy remains inconsistent.
Bluetooth, HID, USB, MIDI, and serial-device access are blocked. NoRageJobs does not scan or connect to devices or services on your local network. Stable local-network policy controls are not consistently available across browsers yet.
Screen capture, virtual and augmented reality, idle detection, wake lock, multi-window management, and local-font enumeration are disabled.
NoRageJobs cannot read your clipboard. Same-origin clipboard writing remains available only for deliberate actions such as copying a job link.
A résumé is submitted only after you choose a file with the upload control. The browser exposes the selected file, not broad access to your files or folders.
JavaScript powers searches, forms, account actions, and dashboards. Images support the interface and legitimate employer branding. These are ordinary web resources, not site-permission prompts.
NoRageJobs does not currently ask to send browser notifications. A future alert feature would be introduced as a clear opt-in before any request is made.
An employer starts a purchase deliberately and is redirected to Stripe-hosted Checkout. The NoRageJobs origin does not use the browser Payment Request API, and only a signed Stripe webhook confirms a payment.
Same-origin Web Share remains available so a person can intentionally share a job listing on a supported device. No automatic sharing occurs.
NoRageJobs does not intentionally use intrusive ads, unsolicited pop-ups, or automatic downloads. Production pages upgrade insecure resource requests so mixed HTTP content is not quietly loaded into an HTTPS page.
Your browser still matters
Browsers such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Brave may display permissions differently. Their settings pages often list every capability a website could potentially request. Seeing a capability in that list does not mean NoRageJobs requested or used it.
When NoRageJobs blocks a supported capability through its website security policy, changing a browser permission to “Allow” does not override that website-level restriction. A browser or device may always apply additional restrictions.
Some settings, including notifications, pop-ups, downloads, cookies, and JavaScript, are browser-managed or use controls other than Permissions Policy. This page distinguishes those cases instead of treating every browser-menu item as the same thing.
How the marketplace is being built
Public jobs can be searched and read without creating a job-seeker account.
Listings are designed around pay, schedule, location, benefits, overtime, and direct application information.
Direct employers and recruiting organizations enter separate administrator review workflows before publishing access is enabled.
Submitted listings have review states so administrators can approve, reject, or request changes before publication.
Uploading a private résumé is optional and begins only when a signed-in job seeker selects a file.
Account flows include email verification, password requirements, rate limits, Turnstile checks where configured, and stronger MFA requirements for administrators.
Plain language, not a replacement for legal terms
This page explains product behavior in everyday language. You can find the Privacy Policy under the Terms of Service section.
