Privacy Policy

Effective: September 23, 2026Last updated: September 29, 2026Version 1.5

NoRageJobs is operated by NoRageJobs LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. In this Policy, "NoRageJobs," "we," "us," and "our" refer to NoRageJobs LLC. This Policy explains what information NoRageJobs collects, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to users.

1. Information collected

NoRageJobs collects information that users provide, information generated through account and service activity, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

  • Public browsing: search terms, filters, sort choices, saved browser preferences, pages or features used, request timestamps, request paths, browser and device information, and security and access logs. A referring page may be processed when supplied by the browser or hosting infrastructure.
  • Network information: the server receives an IP address with a request. Authentication security uses a one-way IP-derived hash rather than storing the raw IP address in account session records. NoRageJobs does not currently use IP addresses to derive or store approximate location.
  • Personal accounts: name, email, password hash, email-verification status, private profile details, location preferences, optional email-alert preferences, and uploaded resume metadata and files.
  • Employer, recruiter, and agency accounts: representative name and title, business email, phone, organization identity, website, industry, locations, client hiring authorization information supplied by the agency, business-account review information, listings, account activity, Early Access and Founder Edition eligibility and status, benefit grant, revocation, or reactivation history, benefit start and end dates, and related administrative notes and history.
  • Agency team activity, when Agency Workspace features are enabled and used: invitation status, membership status, assigned role and permissions, seat usage, job and applicant assignments, approval actions, security events, and historical attribution of organization activity.
  • Support and safety: messages, reports, attachments, affected URLs, and information needed to investigate a request.
  • Billing: orders, invoices, receipts, refund requests, provider transaction identifiers, and payment status. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider when live billing is enabled and are not intended to be stored by NoRageJobs.

2. How information is used

  • Operate job browsing, accounts, profiles, resumes, listings, review, billing, and support.
  • Verify email addresses, review business account information for employers, recruiters, and agencies, and review listing information before publication. Client hiring authorization information supplied by an agency is the agency's claim and is not treated as independent NoRageJobs verification unless expressly stated.
  • Determine and administer Early Access eligibility, public-launch introductory offers, and Founder Edition benefits, including posting-capacity and pricing eligibility.
  • When Agency Workspace features are enabled and used, manage invitations, memberships, role-based access, assignments, approvals, seat limits, and organization activity history.
  • Detect fraud, spam, abuse, unsafe links, and policy violations.
  • Send requested alerts and essential account, security, billing, and legal notices.
  • Measure reliability and improve accessibility, search, and platform performance.
  • Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes.

NoRageJobs does not use personal information for targeted advertising. It does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not make personal profiles or resumes publicly searchable by employers through the service.

3. Browser storage and cookies

NoRageJobs uses browser storage and may use cookies to maintain sessions, protect forms, remember display and accessibility settings, retain search preferences, and restore temporary page state. Required security and session storage cannot be disabled without affecting account features. Clearing browser data removes locally stored preferences and may sign the user out.

To estimate how many distinct browsers view public pages, NoRageJobs may store a randomly generated identifier in browser storage and send it with a coarse screen-size category when a public page is viewed. The server stores a hash of that identifier by UTC day, alongside aggregate page-view counts; hashed visitor rows outside the 90-day reporting window are removed as tracking activity continues. The administrator sees aggregate estimates, not the raw identifier or individual visit histories. This does not identify exact people: multiple devices or cleared browser storage can count separately. Public-page traffic measurement is skipped for local previews, private admin/workspace views, and browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control; blocked storage or requests may still contribute page views without a unique-browser count. This identifier is not used for advertising.

4. When information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers in the categories of hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, file storage, availability and error monitoring, security, and payment processing; with a business or recruiter when a job seeker intentionally applies or contacts it; with authorities when legally required; or in connection with a lawful merger, financing, or transfer. Providers are permitted to use information only for the services they provide or as required by law.

When Agency Workspace features are enabled and used, the owner and authorized members may access organization information according to their roles and, where applicable, assignments. This may include agency profile information, client hiring information, listings, applications intentionally submitted to that agency, approvals, and activity history. Members should receive only the access needed for their recruiting work; the agency owner is responsible for maintaining appropriate membership and assignments.

NoRageJobs may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

5. Resume and profile privacy

A personal account's profile and resume are private workspace content. They are not included in public search and are not available for employers, recruiters, or agencies to browse through NoRageJobs. A job seeker may intentionally submit application information through NoRageJobs, and authorized employer, recruiter, or agency users connected to that application may access the submitted information. If a job seeker uses an external application destination, information sent there is governed by that recipient's privacy practices.

6. Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, investigate abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Account closure does not require immediate deletion of records that must be retained for fraud prevention, security, billing, backups, or law. Retention periods may differ by record type.

When Agency Workspace features are enabled and used, suspending or removing an agency member ends or limits future access and may free a recruiter seat, but does not automatically delete listings, applications, client hiring information, approvals, security records, or historical attribution connected with that person's work for the organization.

7. Security

NoRageJobs uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including password hashing, individual user accounts, role-based and, where applicable, assignment-based access controls, session protections, and activity records. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use a unique password, never share agency credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

8. Choices and requests

Users may update many account details and change optional alert preferences through available account tools. When Agency Workspace features are enabled and used, an agency owner may manage invitations and remove a member's future organization access; an invited user may choose not to accept an invitation. A signed-in job seeker may remove an uploaded resume from the personal account workspace.

A user may request account deletion through the Support form or by emailing support@noragejobs.com. Approved account-deletion requests are processed through the administrative account-anonymization workflow, while organization records and records that must be preserved for security, fraud prevention, billing, disputes, historical attribution, or legal obligations may be retained.

NoRageJobs may need to verify identity before completing a request. If a privacy request is denied or limited, the requester may contact Support, provide relevant context, and ask that the decision be reconsidered.

9. Children

NoRageJobs is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. The service does not knowingly create accounts for children.

10. Third-party links

Job listings and other pages may link to websites and services not controlled by NoRageJobs. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Changes to this Policy

Material updates will receive a new version and updated date. When appropriate, NoRageJobs will provide notice through the service or account email. The version accepted during account creation is recorded with the account acceptance event.
